Full-stack Web Developer (part-time)

Overview

The full-stack web developer position at oeksound involves maintaining and expanding our website, implementing web-based user interfaces for prototyping upcoming plug-ins, and assisting customer support with any website- or webshop-related technical issues our users might encounter. We adjust the working hours to meet the employees’ needs, starting with 20-25 hours per week. Our office is located in Kalasatama, Helsinki, and partial remote work is possible. Please note that our daily communication is mostly in Finnish.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain oeksound’s website and webshop
  • Work with our designers to build web-based user interfaces for prototyping upcoming plug-ins and maintain the framework around it
  • Collaborate with customer support to resolve technical issues related to the webshop

What we require from you

  • Experience working professionally as a full-stack web developer
  • Excellent TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills
  • Experience with Node.js servers
  • Experience with JSX-based UI libraries
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Excellent communication skills in English or Finnish

Considered an advantage

  • Experience with SolidJS
  • Experience with static site generators
  • Experience with e-commerce systems
  • A personal interest in audio software
  • Finnish language skills
