I bought a license! Now what?

Licenses are delivered in different ways depending on whether you’ve purchased a perpetual (full) license, rent-to-own license, or upgrade license.

Perpetual (full) license

Once the payment is confirmed, an activation code will be delivered in the order confirmation message to the email address you provided at checkout.

Please follow these steps to activate your license:

  1. Download and install the iLok License Manager application if you don’t already have it.
  2. Launch the iLok License Manager application.
  3. Log in to your iLok account.
  4. Select Licenses -> Redeem Activation Code from the toolbar.
  5. Locate the license you want to activate by viewing all of your licenses on your iLok account.
  6. Right-click on the license and choose “Activate”.

Didn't receive the order confirmation e-mail?

If the order confirmation email hasn’t been delivered to your email address, please check your junk/spam folder, and in case it isn’t delivered in 30 minutes or so, please contact us. Please remember to give us your full name just as you provided it when ordering a license. We will need it to find your order!

Rent-to-Own license

Rent-to-Own licenses are deposited directly onto the iLok account you provided at checkout; no activation codes are involved. Learn how to activate your license using the iLok License Manager.

Don’t hesistate to contact us if you can’t find your license on your iLok account.

You can check your subscription status, cancel subscriptions, resume subscriptions, and pay-off the remainder on our Rent-to-Own management page.

Upgrade license

Upgrade licenses are deposited directly onto the iLok account you provided at checkout; no activation codes are involved. Learn how to activate your license using the iLok License Manager.
